Delightful Retreat with Memorable Dining Experiences
Our 3-night stay was charming! Enjoyed exquisite breakfast options, and the gluten-free bread was a thoughtful touch. A highlight was the lasagna for lunch, bursting with flavor. Despite a few hiccups in food consistency, overall, the friendly atmosphere and engaging staff made it a pleasant getaway. Tip, try the puddings.

The restaurant serves a broad breakfast selection that kept me fueled for a day exploring. The well-stocked bar featured local ales and an impressive whiskey collection, perfect for winding down after a long trek through the moors.
The room layout felt cramped, with an awkward design that made moving around the bed tricky. I found the bed a bit on the hard side for my taste, which might not suit everyone. the shower control was finicky, which could be a hassle during a rushed morning.

Couple looking for good food and service
The breakfasts were AMAZING! The staff were all so friendly, made us feel like we were the only ones there, like royalty! One morning I asked for a special dish, and they whipped it up just for us, like magic.
It wasn't exactly low-priced, but you get what you pay for, right?
